Can Generative AI become a force for equity, amplifying women’s voices and visions in building a more inclusive and sustainable future? What does that tomorrow look like, when people who identify as women or non-binary are at the forefront of shaping it?

The AI Futures Fellowship for Women, presented in partnership with Malleshwaram Enterprising Women's Society, Gooey.AI & Jaaga Trust, is a dynamic and empowering space for people who identify as women or non-binary to envision, create, spark, and lead transformative change. This program brings together passionate minds to explore AI's untapped potential, collaborate on meaningful projects, and through story-telling enhanced by AI, show how we can make a better world.​

Fellowship Structure
The AI Futures: Fellowship for Women is open to people who identify as women or non-binary, is a flexible, part-time program (10+ hours a week) designed to spark creativity and drive meaningful change.
The Fellowship, conducted online with a primarily asynchronous structure, empowers participants on a self-motivated journey to dream big and create bravely.
​Fellows will be given project briefs every 2 weeks that form the instigation for their work. They will also have access to a suite of AI tools. Workshops and talks are held to help Fellows understand best practices on how to use these tools. Fellows gain invaluable insights from industry leaders on the frontlines of AI innovation & storytelling in specially curated sessions.
Fellows create work that envisions the future they want to manifest using AI tools to tell and visualize stories of a better world in response to given briefs.​
From concept to creation, the journey unfolds through collaborative brainstorming, workshopping, project discussions, peer reviewing, and hands-on creating.
At the end of the program, Fellows present a showcase of impactful AI projects that embody their vision for a better tomorrow.

Fellowship Dates: 10th Feb till 10th May 2025
Weekly Time Commitment: ~10 hours of work
+ upto 2 hours of video call time.

Funding
Receive a monthly stipend of ₹10,000 for 3 months with an opportunity to pitch for additional funding during the final showcase and demo day. Get 10,000 credits (worth $200) on the Gooey.AI platform to explore and make your amazing AI creatives.
